Hi guys,

As promised the free feature to all thoes who comment on my previous journal!! Actually plan to do that yesterday. But i was too tired yesterday. So i make this journal today and also submit a new art!! I think more people will come to my userpage when i post a new art!! So more exposure for you guys!!

Some update on my artwork:
I plan to draw quite alot realism artwork.
1. Athrun
2. Death Note - L and Light (I think i want to rework on them)
3. Dgray man - Im working on improving both Kanda and Allen. And doing a new art on Lavi
4. Vampire knight - Kaname and Zero Realism art. (I really want to draw them again)
5. Versus XIII Lover art featuring Prince Noctis and Stella together. I finish drawing them, so im working on putting them together in the final art!!

And of cos i will be working on a new Zeki wedding art as promised from my last poll. Im brainstorming on their outfit design. I want something unique and beautiful and maybe a bit sexy!! So it may take me a longer time to draw them.

Great! I hadn't, no, I was kinda stuck deciding whether to use loads of layers for the skin or just one or two, or even just one, too. Thanks for the tips, I'll experiment with the layer properties and see what happens!

If it comes out well I'll show you :)

Hi :)

I love your work, and I'm trying out some semi realism/realism techniques myself, but I'm having trouble blending the skin. Your FF pics in particular blend really smoothly, and I'd really like the same effect for my own work! Please, do you have any tips you could give me? It's just blending the colours I'm finding difficult, and getting a matt shading effect.

Did you try the layer properties? For darker part, i set the layer to multiply. Lighter part to overlay. Sometime i draw over that layer using a brush with low opacity to blend and some time i just blur the skin by setting surface blur. U can experiment with it to see the result. Try it with different settings.. I usually spend sometime working with different setting and compare the result. So i usually have many version of the artwork.
